About
GLC Training
Gulf Lead
Consultants (GLC) offers a powerful Training Program in five areas:
laboratory staff development (Lab); quality and continual improvement
(QCI);
health, safety, and environment (HSE); production, inventory, and
logistics (PIL); and computer and information technology (CIT).
Unique features of
the GLC Training are:
Comprehensive Coverage
Both technical and management competencies are covered in the Lab area.
Similarly, all aspects of the ISO 9001 certification are addressed in the QCI
area.
Certification-based
HSE courses cover the body of knowledge of
the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) and Certified Safety
Professionals (CSP) examinations offered by the Board of Certified
Safety Professionals (BCSP). The CSP designation enjoys a high
recognition in the USA and world-wide; a CSP holder earns annually about
$25,000 more than non-certificants (www.bcsp.org)
Experienced
facilitators
The facilitators have educational and work experience in the target
subject areas, as well as facilitation skill.
Training Style
The adopted training style includes interactive learning, workshop setups (as appropriate),
real and simulated case studies and practical examples. GLC believes that learning and
joy go hand in hand; we try to reflect this belief in our program.
Flexibility & Customization
For contracted courses, GLC and the client organization
may mutually agree on a different date and time (morning or
afternoon). Prior to the course offering, GLC may visit the client’s
premises to observe and gather information in order to customize the
course.
Tailored Courses
GLC may design training courses in laboratories, quality, safety, and
logistics to meet specific needs of the client.
Quality Assurance
GLC
implements a strict quality assurance program throughout the course’s
delivery cycle (i.e. before, during, and after delivery) in order to
ensure total client satisfaction and return on investment. The material
is carefully prepared and reviewed for content practicality, delivery
method, accuracy, and format. Facilitators are selected for their
subject expertise and facilitation skills. End-of-course and learning
assessment evaluations are performed. The feedback of participants and
facilitators is carefully reviewed and incorporated, as appropriate, in
future courses.
