Facilitators
The
team of facilitators consists of top professionals with practical work
and training experiences. The following is a brief overview of the
background of selected facilitators.
Tariq Aldowaisan, the
Founder and Managing Director of GLC, has a proven track record of over
20 years of combined
consulting and training experience in quality, safety,
laboratory development, and certifications. Dr. Aldowaisan is a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified
Quality Auditor (CQA), and Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr) by the
American Society for Quality (ASQ). He is also the first Kuwaiti to be a
Certified Safety Professional (CSP); a designation that is awarded by the world-renowned
Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) to individuals who
satisfy education, experience, and rigorous examination requirements.
Dr. Aldowaisan
has been the coordinator and facilitator for over 100 training
workshops; and a project manager, advisor, and consultant for over 25
consultation projects and advisory assignments to private and government
organizations including Kuwait Ports Authority, Kuwait National
Petroleum Company, Kuwait Oil Company, INCO-Lab, National Environmental
Services Company, Kuwait University, Public Authority for Industry, Civil Service
Commission, and Municipality of Kuwait.
Lotfi Gaafar has international and local work, consulting, and
training experience in production, inventory, logistics, and simulation.
He was a factory engineer and a factory manager of El-Ameen Company for
Plastics in Cairo. He was a consultant with several USA, Egypt, and
Kuwait companies including Garrett Turbine Engine, Ciba Vision, Fleming
Food Distribution Company, and UNESCO. Dr. Gaafar is well-known for
adopting a hands-on practical training approach.
Ashraf Youssef has assisted local labs to implement ISO 17025
and provided numerous lab improvement trainings. He was a chief engineer
in charge of supervising several engineering laboratories at Kuwait
University. He also served as a
quality assurance consultant to Public Health School at Harvard
University for two years.
