Who Should Attend?
This course expects a
basic knowledge and experience in the engineering and
management aspects of HSE. This can be attained through
taking GLC courses: “Math and Statistics for HSE
Professional”, “Safety and Health Fundamentals”, “Safety and
Health Engineering Overview”, and “HSE Management Systems.”
This course is especially useful for those who wish to sit
for the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) examination. The
ASP certification is recommended to newly appointed
engineers, and entry-level HSE and loss prevention (LP)
professionals.

ASP Certification Refresher
The aim
of this course is to review the body of knowledge identified by the
Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) for the Associate Safety
Professional (ASP). The course covers basic HSE background, HSE
engineering, HSE communication, and professional conduct and ethics.
The
facilitator of this course is Dr. Tariq Aldowaisan who has successfully
passed both the ASP and CSP exams. He also has extensive experience in
HSE training and consulting; this includes teaching occupational safety
and health for engineers and ergonomics at Kuwait University, as well as
HSEMS training at oil companies.
