Who Should Attend?
This course expects a
basic competency in mathematics and statistics. This can be
achieved through taking GLC course: “Math and Statistics for
HSE Professionals”. This course is especially useful for
those who wish to sit for the ASP/CSP examinations. |
Safety and Health Engineering Overview
Once
identified and evaluated, hazards may be managed with engineering,
administrative, and/or personal protective equipment controls. Of these
three types of controls, the engineering one is the most effective and,
hence, should be considered first.
The aim of
this course is to provide the HSE professional with a quick overview of
the basic HSE engineering and technical subjects. The coverage level and
scope reflects that required by the ASP/CSP examinations. End-of-day
review questions are provided to verify and reinforce the learning
process.
