Consultants (GLC) provides a complete professional development program
that prepares participants to become Certified Reliability Engineers
(CRE) by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). The program consists of
intensive training and preparation for the CRE certification
examination. The training duration, which is determined based on the
assessment of participants background, may be distributed in such a way
to accommodate participants' workload and work schedules and will cover
all elements of the body of knowledge (BOK) for reliability engineering.
The BOK for reliability engineering covers the different topics of
reliability management; probability and statistical methods; reliability
modeling and prediction; data collection, analysis, and corrective
action; reliability tools in design and development; reliability
testing; maintainability and availability; and product safety and
liability.
Participants
will gain the knowledge of understanding product performance, design and
modeling of complex reliability systems, system safety analysis, failure
mode and effects analysis (FMEA), fault tree analysis, reliability
improvement techniques, reliability program management, human factors in
reliability, product replacement, maintenance options, availability,
preventive and corrective maintenance, among other topics.
CRE
professional certification program is highly recommended to all of those
who are involved in improving product/ process performance, risk
management, and system safety including reliability engineers, safety
managers, process/ operations managers, and manufacturing engineers.
