Six Sigma Improvement

Gulf Lead Consultants (GLC) provides a complete program of technical consultancy services to assist in the implementation of six sigma projects that realize improvement within our client's organization

GLC consultants and associates have the practical and technical experience of assisting local industrial and service organizations in implementing six sigma methodology.

Our six sigma consulting programs are customized to meet the particular need of our clients.  The GLC approach is based on the following phases, which employ the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) methodology:

1. Projects Identification & Team Building: During this first phase, GLC consultants will provide consultancy services in the following activities: management awareness of six sigma, team formation, customers' requirements identifications, improvement opportunities identification, establishment of expected outcomes. The key deliverable of this phase is a definition of improvement project (s).

2. Projects Mapping & Description: GLC consultants will provide consultancy services that cover: target processes mapping, detailed processes description using Supplier, Inputs, Process, Outputs, Customers (SIPOC) diagrams. Additional consultancy activities include identifying the voice of the customer, and identifying key metrics. 

3. Six Sigma Training: GLC will provide adequate training on the six sigma methodology and tools that the team will be using in their projects.  In addition, GLC consultants and associates will provide: Team education, process data investigation and root cause analysis, process improvements, planning and implementation, and validation.

4. Demonstrate Improvements:  During this phase, GLC consultants, with team members will perform the following tasks: Evaluate projects for effectiveness and sustainability, make corrections as appropriate, document and review lessons learned and continuous process improvement opportunities, and expand gains.

Our consultants will help teams initiate projects, develop project charters and objectives, assist team members going through the different phases of six sigma methodology, be involved with project teams to write final reports, validate the methodology, and demonstrate improvements.
